This is the other story of youth from the author of Anne of Green Gables, L. M. Montgomery. Anne of Green Gables, a masterpiece that continues to captivate the readers from around the world. From the same author, Montgomery, comes the other outstanding work, Emily. Original work is an autobiographical story based on a diary that Montgomery has been writing since her girlhood. After the death of her father, Emily, our heroine, meets new family and friends, and with her cheerful disposition begin to create her own life. Based in the 19th Century on the Prince Edward Island in Canada, this story tells how Emily grows up, as she overcomes numerous hardships. Story Emily lived on the Prince Edward Island in Canada with her father. She was enjoying her life in nature her friends were the trees and animals in the forest, and Aunt of the Wind and Fairies that only she can see. But suddenly, she loses her dear father. Emily must now start a new life in the New Moon Ranch with the strict Aunt Elizabeth who takes her in. She meets Ilse, Teddy and Perry who will eventually become her best friends, and they create various commotions around their village and school. Free spirited and self assertive, she cannot avoid clashing with her Aunt and her traditional sense of values. Emily writes about loneliness and uncertainty she feels in her new life, in letters to her late father. Since she loves to write, she dreams of one day becoming a writer; however...
