Hyūma Hoshi makes a magnificent come-back as a right-handed pitcher and fought fiercely against his former rivals Hanagata and Samon, and Romeo Nanjo, a relief pitcher who has come to Hanshin from South America. However, Hyūma's rivals figure out his pitching style and hit back, causing Hyūma to fall to the second team. During his slump, Hyūma accidently gets a hint for a new "miracle ball", and he perfects the mirage-like "Big League Ball Right 1" as his fastball.
