TMS Entertainment Co., Ltd. (the ”we”) complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, and are committed to handling all personal information in accordance with the privacy policy set forth below.

1. Compliance with related laws and regulations

We comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act and other related laws and regulations.

2. Acquisition and use of personal information.

We may ask, acquire, keep, and use certain personal information from our customers for the purposes stated in “3. Purpose of utilizing the personal information”.

  1. Customers or clients’ names, addresses, sex, dates of birth, names of company or organization, position, telephone numbers, E-mail addresses, Action logs, terminal identification information, positional information, and communication histories.
  2. job candidates’ names, addresses, sex, dates of birth, educational backgrounds, work experiences, telephone numbers, E-mail addresses, and family information.
  3. Employees’ (including retirees’) names, addresses, sex, dates of birth, educational backgrounds, work experiences, telephone numbers, E-mail addresses, and family information.
  4. Other necessary personal information for proper and smooth execution of our business activities.

3. Purpose of utilizing the personal information

3-1 We use the acquired personal information to the extent necessary for the accomplishment of the purpose of use and take measures not to use the information for any purposes other than the original intent.

  1. For an invitation or information of merchandises, events, campaigns, or surveys.
  2. For planning and developing of merchandises or services.
  3. For marketing activities.
  4. For recording customers’ history of purchase and use of merchandises or services, or managing its records.
  5. For contacting job candidates, determining eligibility, and information management.
  6. For the management of human resources and employees’ salaries.
  7. For other proper and smooth execution of our business activities.

3-2 We use specific personal information which includes “Individual Numbers” that are required by the “Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in the Administrative Procedure Act” (“Individual Number Act”) for only within the scope of the following businesses.

① Businesses related to employees (including its dependent relatives and retirees) with relevant Individual Number.

  • Businesses related to tax withholding and payment of salaries.
  • Businesses related to personal residents’ taxes and health insurances.
  • Businesses related to welfare pension and national pension.
  • Businesses related to company pension and employment insurance.
  • Businesses related to workers compensation insurance and employees’ stock ownership.

② Businesses related to individuals other than relevant Individual Number employees.

  • Businesses related to creating payment records of reward and fee.
  • Businesses related to creating payment records of values of stock transfer.

③ Other businesses related to the above.

4. Management of personal information

We keep personal information held accurate and up-to-date under the principles of confidentially, completeness, and availability of information. In addition, we enact company rules and take reasonable measures to prevent the leakage, loss or damage of personal information as well as corrective measures on the occurrence of such situations.
We may delete certain personal information once we regard the purpose of its information are accomplished and there’s no necessity to hold.

5. An offer of personal information for third parties

We do not provide personal information to third parties except in the following cases.

  1. Cases which we obtain in advance a principal’s consent.
  2. Cases which are based on laws and regulations.
  3. Cases in which there is a need to protect human life, body or fortune, and when it is difficult to obtain a principal’s consent.
  4. Cases in which there is a special need to enhance public hygiene or promote fostering healthy children and when it is difficult to obtain a principal’s consent.
  5. Cases in which there is a need to cooperate in regard to a central government organization or a local government, or a person entrusted by them performing affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and when there is a possibility that obtaining a principal’s consent would interfere with the performance of the said affairs.
  6. Cases in which provision is permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.

We, our parent company, our subsidiaries and other associates (the ”Sega-Sammy Group”), shall share and use the following information.

  • Other personal information which is required for appropriateness and smoothness of our business’ execution

  6. For identifying antisocial forces when the business transactions begin or continue.
  7. For other proper and smooth executions of our business activities.

Based on the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, we accept requests for disclosure or correction of the personal information we hold, if a person can identify him/herself.

8. About an access log and cookies

8-1 Access log

Our server of this website tracks access log information about users. This access log includes visitors’ domain name, date and time of accesses, and IP-address, except specific information regarding users’ personality.
These will be used for protecting and managing websites, and analyzing statistically, the usage status, but won’t be used for any other purposes.
In addition, we will promptly discard all of access log data once the analysis has been completed.

8-2 Cookies

A “cookie” is a small text based file sent to your browser from a server of our website and stored on your computer’s hard drive.
We can provide you with more appropriate services by utilizing the information data of cookies. You can set up your browser in order to use or refuse cookies in advance.
