The Snow Queen
In mid-19th century Europe, childhood friends Gerda, a lively 11-year-old girl with an unyielding spirit, and Kai, a kind-hearted 12-year-old boy, are next-door neighbors who grew up just like siblings. However, one winter day, a large mirror breaks in the Snow Queen's ice castle. Carried by the north wind, a shard of that mirror goes into Kai's eye. He is then kidnapped by the Snow Queen. Being the only one who believes that her childhood friend is still alive, Gerda goes on a journey to look for Kai while experiencing many encounters and separations and overcoming numerous trials and tribulations.
