Star of the Giants: Go, Go Hyuma
Seiun High School's baseball team that finally made it to the Koshien advances to the final round against Kōyō High School led by Hanagata. However, Hyūma's left hand is hit by a broken bat in the semi-finals and his thumbnail is injured. Hyūma pitches the bloodstained ball, but his team is defeated as Hanagata manages to hit a game-ending home run at the end of the 9th inning when the score was tied 0 to 0.
