A decision has been made to merge Fujimi junior high school and Hamaki junior high school. Hamaki's volleyball club has four strong players called "the big four." Our heroes immediately clash with the big four over the use of the gymnasium, and they are easily beaten by one of the big four, Yuri Izumi's curveball serves. Kozue and Midori bunk with the volleyball club from Fujimi women's college in a training camp and learn a special skill from them. Then they challenge the big four again.
