Chingo Muchabei
The story is set in 17th century AD, at the dawn of the Edo period when the Tokugawa clan ruled over Japan. Muchabee, a ronin, was living a poor and modest life making umbrellas and raising a boy in a dilapidated tenement house below Edo Castle. This boy is Bokemaru, an orphan and the true successor of the Toyotomi family. Muchabee is secretly waiting for an opportunity to restore the Toyotomi clan whom he served as a vassal. Adding to Bokemaru's fickle nature, the appearance of Tokugawa's spy, Kaburezukin makes the duo's life suddenly very chaotic. Will Muchabee's dream of reviving the Toyotomi clan ever come true!?
