Who hasn’t tried to run as fast as Sonic when they were a child?

Based on the successful Sega games franchise Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic X is a cult Japanese animated TV series that is already celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

Following on from the Japanese, English and Brazilian Portuguese versions, this time we will make the Italian version of Sonic X available on “Anime! on TMS Official Channel”. A great opportunity for Italian children (and adults, too !) to enjoy -once again- the adventures of our blue hedgehog !

For starters, the first season – which includes the first 52 episodes–  will be available on the channel from July 15, 2023.

Synopsis

While fighting the evil Dr. Eggman, Sonic accidentally transports himself, his friends and Eggman to the human world.
There, Sonic befriends a boy called Chris, who takes him in until he can get back to his home world. Together, they must fight
Dr Eggman and find the Chaos Emeralds before he does!

The series was produced by TMS Entertainment in partnership with Sega and the Sonic Team, who were also responsible for the games in the franchise, and was first broadcast on TV Tokyo in 2003.

Sonic X is the fourth animated series based on the character of Sonic ; it features a lot of original content, with new characters as well as more established characters. The second season, on the other hand, is largely based on the storylines of the games Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Battle.  

The series ran for three seasons of 26 episodes each, although the first 52 episodes are often regarded as a single season.

At the time, and even to this day, the series and its many spin-off products have done much to bring the franchise to a new generation of gamers.

Chi non ha mai, da bambino, provato a correre veloce come Sonic ?

Basato sul franchise dei giochi a successo di Sega Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic X è una serie televisiva d’anime giapponese culto che festeggia già quest'anno il suo 20° anniversario.

Dopo la versione giapponese, inglese o portoghese brasiliano, questa volta la versione italiana di Sonic X sarà disponibile su Anime! on TMS Official Channel. L'occasione per i giovani (e meno giovani!) Italiani di (ri)scoprire le avventure del nostro riccio blu!

Si tratta per il momento della stagione 1, che comprende i primi 52 episodi, che verranno messi online sul canale dal 15 luglio, 2023.

Synopsis

Mentre combatte contro il malvagio Dr. Eggman, Sonic si trasporta accidentalmente, con i suoi amici e Eggman, nel mondo umano.
Lì, Sonic fa amicizia con un ragazzo di nome Chris, che lo accoglie finché non può tornare nel suo mondo natale. Insieme devono affrontare il Dr Eggman e trovare i Chaos Emerald prima che lo faccia lui !

Serie televisiva prodotta da TMS Entertainment in partnership con Sega e il Sonic Team, che si è occupata anche dei giochi del franchise, è stata trasmessa per la prima volta nel 2003 su TV Tokyo.

Quarta serie animata legata al personaggio di Sonic, ci si trova molti contenuti originali con nuovi personaggi ma anche altri personaggi già affermati. La seconda stagione, invece, è in gran parte basata sullo scenario dei giochi Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2 e Sonic Battle.

La serie ha tre stagioni di 26 episodi ciascuna, anche se i primi 52 episodi sono spesso considerati un'unica stagione.

A quel tempo e ancora oggi, la serie e i suoi numerosi prodotti derivati hanno contribuito notevolmente a far conoscere il franchise a una nuova generazione di giocatori.
