Sequel to the hit series based on “Tomorrow’s Joe” Original TV Animation “NOMAD Megalobox2” To be broadcast in April 2021 on TOKYO MX & BS11!

Teaser visual and PV showing Joe after seven years released!

TMS Entertainment (CEO Tadashi Takezaki) is pleased to inform the original TV animation NOMAD Megalobox 2 will be broadcast in April on Toko MX channel (April 4) and BS 11 channel (April 6).


Released ahead of the broadcast is the main visual image drawn by the director Yo Moriyama himself! Also released is the promotional video with plenty of new scenes. Lots of actions of Megalobox matches with fighters waring Gears, and the protagonist Joe (voice: Yosimasa Hosoya) wandering with loneliness and conflict. New characters are appearing and additional cast with talented voice actors are revealed!

Please enjoy the new chapter of people involved with MEGALOBOX, the ultimate martial arts combining human body and Gear Technology, and Joe’s life beyond his total burnout.

New image of Joe after 7 years !

New visual of Joe’s face and his Gear over the numerously scarred body is released! He looks drastically different from his past self, calling himself Nomad now. He will wander around to find his place. Beside Joe is the humming bird with beautiful feathers, symbolizing his longing for home in the episodes.

Latest trailer with new scenes released!

Main trailer with plenty of new scenes is released too. There’s action scene with a new Megalobxer called Chief (voice: Mio Tanaka) and scenes of Joe losing his friends and his way, bearing loneliness and conflict, making up his mind…
The story also focuses on the characters’ emotions. In addition to new characters, the ones from previous series will appear, after seven years have passed. The exciting music is by mabauna. Do not miss the new chapter of Joe’s story!

New characters to appear! Additional casts revealed!

New characters will appear to enrich the story!
Mac, the boxer who made incredible return to the ring with the latest technology, is voiced by Atsushi Miyauchi. Sakuma, the entrepreneur who helped Mac and revolutionized medical technology is voiced by Chikahiro Kobayashi. Boxer Chief, who influences Joe is by Miou Tanaka, Marla (Nikray Farahnaz) and Mio (Yumi Hino) live in the immigrant community with Chief. Masaya  Fukunishi will play Liu, the current Magalobox champion with unbeaten record.
Additionally Yukiko Shirato (Nanako Mori), Mikio Shirato (Tatsuo Suzuki), Aragaki (Makoto Tamura) will all come back from the previous series. The street children Bonjiri, Santa, and Oicho will be back too, all grown up after seven years.
All these talented voice actors are to play interesting characters.


MAC (voice: Atsushi Miyauchi)
Formerly a mediocre Megaloboxer, became a policeman for his family but gravely injured while on duty. With the help of Sakuma and his medical technology, he makes a dramatic recovery and returns to the ring as a boxer.


SAKUMA(Chikahiro Kobayashi )
Young genius entrepreneur who revolutionized medical technology in the field of brain neural engineering.


CHIEF(Miou Tanaka)
A Megaloboxer fights in underground matches while living at Casa, the community for immigrants. Warmhearted and regarded as a leader at Casa.


MARLA(Farahnaz Nikray)
Runs an operating factory at Casa. Raised Mio on her own. Kind woman who takes care of Chief’s Gear maintenance and his everyday life.


MIO(Yumi Hino)
Only son of Marla. Hangs around with gang, once tried to steal Joe’s motorbike.


LIU(Masaya Fukunishi)
Current Megalobox champion. Regards Yuri as his mentor. Talented and remains undefeated.

ABOUT MEGALOBOX 2: NOMAD

In the end, “Gearless” Joe was the one that reigned as the champion of Megalonia, a first ever megalobox tournament. Fans everywhere were mesmerized by the meteoric rise of Joe who sprung out from the deepest underground ring to the top in mere three months and without the use of gear. Seven years later, “Gearless” Joe was once again fighting in underground matches. Adorned with scars and once again donning his gear, but now known only as Nomad…
