Tohru, a girl in high school who lost her mother, starts to live with Yuki and Kyo from the venerable and distinguished Soma family. However, members of the Soma family have been inflicted with an ominous "curse" for hundreds of years. Tohru, who has gotten to know Yuki, Kyo, and other members of the family very well, tries to dispel the curse, but she cannot find any clues to remove the curse. Instead, she finds herself to be at a loss for words when she finds out the great secret that Akito Soma, the head of the Soma family, was hiding. The first memory and the first promise that everyone had forgotten. What awaits Yuki, Kyo, and Tohru on the other side...
