Early summer of 199X - Yutaka Takai, a freshman in high school, is praised as being a boy genius. The only thing he feels embarrassed about is his age, as his girlfriend, Mamiko Abe is two years older than him. To fill the age gap, he builds a time machine to go back two years in time, in order to be the same age as Mamiko. Sensing the situation, Mamiko uses the time machine to travel two years into the future. Everyone around starts to forget that she ever existed.
