The world is at peace again since the fierce battle between Dan and his team of Awesome Ones and the Aurelus Bakugan, Tiko. In this time, Benton Dusk, the president of the global company Dusk Industries, and a strong supporter of Dan and the others, hosts a global Bakugan battle tournament called the "Bakugan Battle League". Fierce fighters from all over the world gather for this Bakugan Battle League and battle ferociously to reach the top. Dan, along with his Bakugan partner Drago, will compete against many rivals if he has to win the battles which are his forte. However, a new menace draws near the planet when the world is swept up in the excitement of the Battle League. "Haavik", an alien seeking notoriety across the universe, comes to Earth and manipulates the Bakugan and humans at will, trying to bring chaos and destruction to Earth. Will Dan and Drago be able to defeat these powerful new enemies that stand in their way?
